In this snippet Tom Campbell discusses how his theory, My Big TOE (Theory of Everything), aligns with and diverges from Christianity and physicalism. He emphasises that while his model is consistent with the fundamental aspects of Christianity, it conflicts with the associated dogma. Campbell’s theory also resonates with Buddhism, Hinduism, Kabbalah, Sufism, and indigenous belief systems, fostering inclusivity.
He highlights commonalities between Christianity and his model, such as the emphasis on love and forgiveness, prayer, and the concept of the soul and body mirroring the idea of the Individual Unit of Consciousness (IUC) and avatar in his theory. Additionally, Campbell connects physicalism, acknowledging that part of reality operates within a clockwork framework, governed by the rule set of the Virtual Reality (VR).
Campbell delves into the relationship between the non-physical and physical realms, explaining how the non-physical (consciousness) creates the physical (virtual reality). He describes individuals as players operating avatars in this VR, emphasising that consciousness is fundamental and precedes the physical. The VR serves as an entropy reduction trainer for individuated units of consciousness, and individuals collectively shape the world based on their choices, with fear being a predominant influence.
