During a Gateway training session, Bob Monroe and two unsuspecting participants found themselves in the midst of an unexpected occurrence famously referred to as the “Patrick Event.” This incident unfolded while they were utilizing a CHEC Unit during a scheduled break. What began as a routine session took an astonishing turn, unleashing an unusually potent surge of energy that led to electrical disturbances and the complete meltdown of the unit’s wiring.

At the heart of the Patrick Event was Rosalind McKnight, who, in a remarkable and somewhat daring move, directed the essence of a “lost soul” into her energy field. Initially, this action left Bob Monroe deeply concerned for her well-being. However, reassurance came in the form of the “Invisible Helpers,” who swiftly orchestrated a remarkable “rescue” operation. This unexpected turn of events left a profound impression on Bob Monroe, ultimately prompting him to incorporate the Patrick Event into the Gateway programs.
